I’ve been attempting to unravel the Seven Principles of Stalking for some time. I’ve written posts about three already. I think I have finally had a breakthrough after I ‘channeled’ a list that aligns well here. My additions are in all caps.
- DETERMINATION (Know your surroundings)
What do you have to work with?
What is the point?
Where do you fall short?
What are your resources?
How do you assess potential regrets? - CHOICE (Discard the Unnecessary)
Assess time and effort, your values, and your existing goals - RESPONSIBILITY (Apply concentration to deciding)
Take responsibility for each and every one of your actions; must first know why you are acting - DECISION (Relax, fear nothing, abandon yourself)
Is this worth the risk or is it a sure thing? Again, assess your values, this impacts your life - ACTION (Retreat for a moment when needed)
Set your pace; be efficient; don’t lose your energy; carve a path for rest - ACCOUNTABILITY (Compress time, never waste an instant)
To self, family, coworkers, your immediate community; risks and consequences - ASSESS Progress (Never push yourself to the front)
The Principles themselves may be found in Eagle, page 278.
